This two day program provides an extensive review of acute care nursing practice to prepare nurses in critical care and intermediate care to take the CCRN or PCCN certification exam. Content includes a multi-system review of pertinent pathophysiology, assessment findings, diagnostic testing and treatment measures commonly encountered in acute care settings. The blueprint for the CCRN and the PCCN exams serve as the foundation for this course with primary emphasis placed on topics common to each of the exams.

KAY HAS CLINICAL BACKGROUND OF OVER 30 YEARS INCLUDING EXPERIENCE IN ICU, CCU, BURN, TRAUMA AND CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY. SHE IS WELL KNOWN THROUGHOUT WISCONSIN FOR HER ABILITY TO TAKE COMPLEX TOPICS AND MAKE THEM FUN AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND
